My Lady ...

TO MY LADY

A lady when you needed her
She had all the charm
She never growled or bit
Or caused any harm .
laughing and happy
Since the day I brought her home
Now ,I am gonna miss her
And feel so all alone .
She was a rescue
that was left to die
Along with her puppies
On a dark and cold night .
She has been with us now
For over five years
We have shared all the joys and
sadness and never once a tear .
Until now ....
My Lady has gone to Heaven
That is where she will wait
And when I go there
She'll be standing at the gate
I will see her smiling face once more
And joy will fill my heart
I miss her and love her
And so sad we had to part
But ,I know she is happy
for she had always been
So I ask you God to take
care of her and then
I will take over ,
as soon as I can
MY Lady forever and ever
Asleep in your loving hands ......

An Ode to A Maltipoo
I can dance upon my back feet
And make you give me a treat
That you said I couldn't have
Just a few moments ago ..
I can smile on rain filled days
And make you laugh in millions of ways
You just thought you were lonely ,I know .
I can sit upon your lap and watch that ole TV
Until we both fall into an easy restfull sleep ..
I can make you see that you are not alone
when I greet you at the door ...
I can make you cry when you see the surprise
I left for you on the floor ...
But mostly I can be your friend
every day and night ..
We can sit and watch the stars shine
or walk in the sun's pure light ..
I can see into your heart and soul what no human ever can ..
That is because I am a DOG ..man's best FRIEND!

IN THE GARDEN

Have you ever noticed that flowers grow

And they last through rain and sleet and snow

They seem to understand more than we

How life can be full and precious and free

You plant a seed and never know

But you wait and watch as the flower does grow .

It is the same when you have a friend

A seed is planted ,a love is born

A heart grows full and blooms through storms

You can plant a flower or tree

And wait for something that was meant to be

And take the time to get to know

The seed you planted as it grows .

An Angel came to visit

I pondered the reason you came in my life

My heart was troubled ,full of strife

I laughed very little and found no love

In any reason ,person or even the above

So ,I wondered why you suddenly appeared

And seem to know what I really feared

So ,I looked into your eyes and then

I knew why you were sent and when

All was in doubt ,my soul in pain

You came to visit and made me sane

Your eyes could see into my heart

And promised me we would never part

Then one day you had to go

to another world I someday would also know

And the promise you kept even though you were gone

It is in my heart ..the angel song

You came to visit me just for a time

Memories of you still in my mind

An angel you were that stayed for awhile

You changed my life ,you made me smile .

An Angel came and stayed for awhile .

Thank you !
